WHY PLAY BASKETBALL
For the Leisure Centre guidelines please see pdf.
Basketball is an exciting fun and fast paced game, that is played year round indoors, for both boys and girls over a vast age range. ‘Sport Gulf Harbour' have several teams competing in the Hibiscus Coast Leisure Center Competition, be it a mixed team, or a girls or boys team. Be it competitive or just for fun we have teams of differing capabilities and experience, and will do our best to place you according to your requirements.
Maybe you even have a group of mates, and want to create your own team, well contact us and we can provide you with the back-up support you will need to enter the competition and ongoing assistance throughout the year, not to mention the great extras of being a member of SGH, can offer you and your whole family.
We supply all players with a proud looking uniform, coaching clinics, a team manager, annual prize-giving and a chance to become part of the SGH Elite Training Squad.
We work closely with the ‘NZ Breakers'supporting there initiatives in the community and seek their assistance continually through-out the year. We are honoured to have them support our special club. Their Community Coach ‘Lawrence Lianda' is an asset to have on board and he is wonderful with the assistance he provides to all of our players.
So give us a call or email to get further information, and we look forward to welcoming you to a great little club that has the kid's interest at heart. ‘Welcome Aboard'.
