For the first year ever cheerleading is coming to Sport Gulf Harbour.
Starting February 23rd 2012, at the Leisure Centre from 5.30pm-7.30pm on Thursday afternoons.
Cheerleading is a great way to get kids active and involved in a new team sport where they will learn lifelong skills and values. It is a really fun sport to get involved in. They can get everything they like in one, like dance, gymnastics, yelling, playing in a team sport, making new friends and lots more. So if you’re not a ball person, cheerleading is a really good sport.
This team will consist of a minimum 15+ girls and boys and a maximum of 25. It is a level 1 team that will compete against other level 1 junior teams in several competitions throughout the year. NO experience is necessary but you must be aged 7-14.
Costs per term are $50 (But are not yet confirmed)
PLEASE NOTE:
That by registering to the SGH Cheerleading team you are obligated to stay in the team for the whole year unless notified by giving a formal written letter one term (10 weeks) before leaving.
